What you can expect from a private session

If you like to create a very personal Yoga practice, helping you with everyday struggles, a private session with me will certainly help you. May your goal be 10-15 minutes or 1.5 hours a day. Together we check your body type, the constellation of your Yogic numerology and your daily life circumstances to compile a practice for your personal needs.

My sessions include detailed alignment in Asana (posture) as well as Pranayama (breathing technique) and meditation, starting at a few minutes and can be extended up to hours of practice.

What you can expect from a group class

My yoga teacher trainings included various styles from Hatha Sivananda over Ashtanga Vinyasa and Yin Yoga to Kundalini Yoga. Each style has advantages and challenges that can be adapted to the group and the space. And this is exactly how I design my classes: according to the needs of the group and the preferences of the rooms. This can be calm with focus on deep relaxation and stretching or dynamic, energizing, sometimes oriented towards body regions, sometimes leading to advanced poses, sometimes all of this in one workshop.

Ayurvedic Yoga Massage

Ayurvedic Yoga Massage was developed by master Kusum Modak in Pune, India in the 1980s. The master, who still learned therapeutic yoga from B.K.S. Iyengar himself, knew how to integrate the use of yogic stretching into Ayurvedic full body massage. Breathing technique, deep tissue massage and the unique use of Indian calmus powder complete this new form of body therapy.

The massage takes place on a mattress on the floor in order to enable the full range of supported stretching alternating with deep muscle massage. A session lasts 60, 75 or 90 minutes.

Special Features

Calamus Powder

The powder of the calamus root, specially ground for massage purposes, in combination with natural oils achieves optimal blood circulation and thus detoxification in the body, which begins during the massage and can still have a significant effect for 24 hours. Additionally you will notice a pleasantly gentle exfoliating effect without using any chemicals.

Breathing Technique

During the massage, deep breath is encouraged, stimulating and balancing the flow of life energy (in Yoga called "Prana").

Assisted Streching

Similar to Thai Yoga Massage, Ayurvedic Yoga Massage also includes special supported stretching exercises, which serve to increase flexibility, release blockages and thus allow deeper relaxation. We use them to gently open up the body.

What is to be considered?

Massage does not replace an appointment with a doctor.

If you are under medical treatment, please check with your doctor whether a deep massage is suitable for you. Please also let me know if you suffer from skin intolerances of any kind.

The massage cannot be performed in case of:


recent surgery or serious injury

blood diseases, such as thrombosis

Bring enough time.

Please plan at least 15 minutes before the massage for a preliminary talk, as well as 10 minutes after the massage for relaxation, tips and advice.

Hairstyle and make-up - no chance! :)

Since the final treatment is a gentle facial massage, I ask you to appear without make-up or to remove it before we start. If you only use any special face care, gladly bring it with you. Generally a natural organic face cream will be used. Also during the massage of the neck and head area unfortunately the preservation of the hairstyle cannot be paid attention to.


Please try to come with an empty stomach, if you must eat please take a light meal not less than 1 hour before the massage.

Wear comfortable underpants, preferrably lose boxer shorts or a G-string.
